FAQ'S:

I'm a freshman. Will I get a role?

If you "wow" me with your audition, you'll most likely  get a small role. The lead roles usually go to the upperclassmen because they have more experience and have "paid their dues."

I keep seeing the same kids every show. Do you pick favorites?

No. I pick students who are reliable, talented and right for the role.

I play a sport and can't make every rehearsal. Should I even bother to audition?

The rehearsal schedule will be posted in the drama classroom. You'll notice that the rehearsal time increase the closer we get to opening. If you can make the majority of the rehearsals and every tech week rehearsal, we can work around your schedule. You will be asked on your audition form for your conflicts. Be sure to list all conflicts including doctor's appointments and family vacations.

What do you look for during an audition?

I look for a prepared, confident, talented actor who is right for the role.

What do we do at callbacks?

Call backs are the time where I have the actors read from the script. I am looking to see you fit into the role, if I can hear you and what instincts you have about the character. My best advice is to commit to the scene and be heard.
